Practice Management

Pam JonesPam Jones
Practice Manager
B.A. ACIB. Dip Health & Social Welfare, Cert Management.
I spent 30 years working in Finance for a major High Street Bank, in various locations throughout the country. In 1991 I was appointed to a senior management position in the Bournemouth area and moved from the Home Counties to Highcliffe. I joined Highcliffe Medical Centre in October 1995 having decided to make a career change to take on the day to day running of Highcliffe Medical Centre. During my relatively short time with the practice I have experienced significant changes both within the practice, four major building projects including the acquisition of premises and re-location of our Mudeford Branch Surgery to Falcon Drive. Within the wider NHS there has been the demise of Fund holding, the establishment of Primary Care Groups they subsequently became Primary Care Trusts and from the 1st April 2004 the introduction of the new national GP Contract. My outside interests include Guiding, Walking, Gardening, Stitching and remaining spare time is taken up for both my husband and me in studying for further Higher University Degrees at Postgraduate level

Reception

Our reception staff are here to welcome you to the practice and to help you access your appointments, collect your prescriptions or answer your queries. They are often busy helping someone else so you may have to wait for their attention.
Your patience is appreciated.
Remember we also have a team of staff behind the scenes working hard on your behalf to organise the services we provide, communicate with other areas of the NHS and keep your records up to date.
