The GPs at Highcliffe Medical Centre accept private Patients.

Private consultations allow doctors more time with patients, making personal one-to-one continuity easier to maintain and provide appointments in minimum 20 minute sessions.

Please Note: It is not possible to consult a General Practitioner here as a private patient if you are already registered as a NHS patient with us. So you must choose which service you would prefer - private or NHS.

It is important to recognise that private doctors are not allowed to issue NHS prescriptions to their private patients. However, despite this, registering privately with a general practitioner does not affect your entitlement to NHS care (hospital services, for instance) in any other way.

Your NHS registration with Highcliffe Medical Centre is not affected if you attend any of our specialist or complementary practitioners as a private patient. For example, you may prefer to attend the chiropodist as a private patient, but you can still see your general practitioner as a NHS patient

Holidaymakers are welcome to book an appointment at the Highcliffe Clinic if they require a Private Consultation whilst on vacation in the area.
