Extended Hours

In conjunction with the Dorset Primary Care Trust, the surgery will be open at least 2 evenings each week between 18.30 and 19.30 and one Saturday morning each month, in addition to the above stated hours.

We vary these days to try and offer access to more of our patients - please let the receptionist know if you need an extended hours appointment when you phone.

Out of Hours

In line with the National Agreement, emergency medical care outside Practice Opening Hours of 8.30 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday, responsibility for medical care passes to Dorset Emergency Care Service on behalf of South and East Dorset Primary Care Trust.

If you require URGENT medical attention or advice that cannot wait until the surgery is open, please call: Dorset Emergency Care Service on: 0845 600 10 13 or ring the normal surgery number as you will be redirected.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely feel that you cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
